Meet Rose Thorntail, the pirate dragon! This OOAK sculpture was crafted entirely by hand from high quality premo clay. Each scale was made and placed by hand. No molds were used in any part of making her. One of her eyes is a hand painted cabochon, her false eye (a gold bead) is also hand painted with a dragon skull. On one arm is perched her loyal wyvern, guarding her blind side. The pattern on her hat scarf is hand painted as well. The feathers on her hat are real, collected from feathers my own birds shed. Her weapon of choice is her tail whip, which is the origin of her name. Rose has been detailed with genesis heat set oil paints, and pearlex mica powders, then sealed with a varnish to protect her. Her treasure dice are included, but I did not craft those myself. She stands approximately five inches high from bottom of the box to the top of her feathers. The bottom of the box is stamped with my artists mark. This is intended as a display piece, and is not a toy. Polymer clay is durable but not indestructible.
