"Charoite was described in 1978 and named for the Chara River in Siberia, the only place it is found. A rare gemstone with translucent lavender to purple color. This fantastic large teardrop of charoite is surrounded with sterling silver filled wire woven between two pieces of heavier wire in a figure 8 pattern. This pendant is 2.5" long.
