SEAGLASS WALL ART 26, Seaglass Art, Flowers and Vase, Burgundy Frame, Sea Pottery, Seaglass Seagirl
BURGUNDY BLOOMS This fantastic piece is simply amazing, from the beautiful sea pottery from Croatia used as the vase to the many flowers bursting with color, it holds your attention for hours. I created the flowers with 30 pieces of authentic surf-tumbled seaglass which are carefully placed in this design to show color and texture. The colors of the flowers range from true cobalt blue and yellows from Spain, whites and browns from the U.S., orange ambers from Spain, several flowers centers are colored black on the black eyed susans to make them pop. The special treat I have is a gastropod fossil from the United Kingdom used as the flower center for the brown flower in the upper left hand corner. The leaves are a lovely kelly green have been strategically placed on the copper wire "vines". The vines have been designed to bring movement to the piece, and many have commented on the pictures. As a stunning addition, I used several pieces of burgundy/mauve sea pottery from Croatia to match the burgundy frame. The whole design sits atop a unique piece of driftwood. All pieces of this design are affixed to the top of the frame glass, and underneath I chose a beige designer cardstock with a slight sheen to match the frame. The frame measures 10" x 12" and is designed to be wall hung or propped up on the easel back. All my artwork is carefully bubble wrapped and shipped out Priority Mail.
