Stained Glass Origami Crane Suncatcher

Product Description

The origami paper crane symbolizes peace, hope, healing, and strength. It also represents good fortune, longevity, and loyalty. In Japanese culture, the crane is known as the "bird of happiness". The tradition of folding 1,000 origami cranes is called senbazuru. It's believed that folding this many cranes will grant the folder a wish. The origami crane is a symbol of peace and hope because of the story of Sadako Sasaki, a Japanese girl who folded cranes after being exposed to radiation from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Our glass cranes are handmade with love and available in three transparent colors. Reach out to us if you are interested in a custom color! * Each piece is handmade to order, please expect slight variations. * Size: 4 L x 5 W x 2.75 H inches
