This stained glass suncatcher is an oval shape design with the Hamsa hand. The outside border is done in a deep water blue glass and the flower is a pastel purple. The hand and the whites of the eye is done in iridescent white glass and the eye is a glass gem. The panel size is approximately 7" wide by 10" tall. The patina on the solder is done in black. There are rings on the top of the panel so it can be hung as shown in additional pictures. Stained glass panels should not use suction cups for hanging. All items are handmade by me using the Tiffany style of construction. The Hamsa hand, also known as the Hand of Fatima, is a symbol of protection that represents divine guidance, hope, and strength. • Protection: The Hamsa is used to ward off evil forces, especially the "evil eye". • Divine guidance: In Judaism, the Hamsa symbolizes the "hand of God". • Feminine figures: In Islam, the Hamsa symbolizes Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad. • Chakras: In Hinduism and Buddhism, the Hamsa symbolizes the five chakras of the body.
