This traditional, yet contemporary design is an #SCWGlassworks hand crafted original. The center of this stained glass transom features a faceted oval German glass jewel, surrounded by clear glass full of fluid ripples and striations, giving the feeling of delicate flower peddles. The center is crowned with a regal deep purple and black ten point crest frame that looks like rays emanating form the center. The center is flanked by two flowers of light purple and foliage green. The primary background is constructed of a rare hand blown Chicago Art Glass no longer being produced. This elegant glass is a complimentary green that burst into an amazing yellow gold in the sunlight. Vertical and horizontal supports are capped with diamonds of the same deep purple from the crest. The inner boarder is clear beveled glass. The outer layer is a hand made foliage green with a hits of purple that transition to brown in the light. Inner and outer boarders are intertwined with the purple diamonds and crest creating a cohesive look of victorian elegance. The sturdy zinc frame and all solder elements have been treated with a dark patina to give a well aged look, protected with Carnauba wax and buffed to a high polished shine. All pieces are studio quality, cathedral glass that will never fade in color and last a lifetime. Sturdy rings are located on the corners panel for hanging. Approximately 29.5 x 10.5 inch rectangle.
