It is an agate or chalcedony where the Carnelian Agate in the center was enclosed during creation by other forms of agate. Considered an anchor stone, it grounds a person. Carnelian is warm and empowering. It's good for motivation and leadership. This stone was found by my Father in a creek bed in the Vernonia area of Oregon.
