Stormy Mind (Bob Ross inspired Oil Painting)
This 16x20 inch painting was done on a recycled canvas (as you can tell by the ripples in paint) and is secured in a black plastic floating frame with velcro strips. It was inspired by the late, great Bob Ross and took 4 sessions to complete. As part of my process, I like to let the paint dry between layers to add depth to my art. The ocean crashes on the shore, escaping the storm further off in the distance. In a way, I draw parallels between this and the colors that crash onto a canvas to escape my dark mind. I hope that this painting can brighten the space of someone who can draw these same parallels are even some of their own to this art.
