This painting was an inspiration from the movie Broken Arrow. Just the love the name of the Indian maiden, Morning Star. By chance I met someone whose name is Summer Star and that name was just beautiful. So the inspiration for this 9th Oil painting was that to paint an Indian Maiden with the Bald Eagle flying over and she has some feathers in her hair waving in the wind with the majestic Arizona mountains/hills behind her. Painted on 12x16" Ampersand Gesso Board 1.5" Cradled. Framed in Ampersand walnut floater frame.
