This tea storage box is a one of a kind piece of artwork from a craftswoman in the U.S.A. Built with 3/4 inch hardwood, it is made to last. I used white oak for the sides and pecan for the top and bottom. The box is surrounded by an inlay of purple heart exotic wood. I also added interesting detail with some corner hardware and a latch. Overall, one of my best boxes to date and I loved making it. This box is 15 in long, 8 in wide, and 4 in deep. The solid nature of the wood makes it weigh in at 7 pounds. As with any wood product, this box has its own special characteristics and defects. Wood moves and no worker is perfect. Know that this box was made with 100% love.
