As the wind blows through its brown mane and tail, the wild mustang watches a storm recede over the distant snow-covered mountains. Lighting forks down from the dark clouds as the storm sounds one last thunder before moving on. Mists rise from the wet ground in the warmth of the autumn afternoon. From the artist: A horse watching a storm is a theme that repeats in several of my artworks. This one is a bit different though in that I set the scene in autumn and went with warmer colors.
