Earrings are made of low pile velveteen cloth, thread, fiber filling and contain glue. They should be kept dry, it is not recommended to wear these while bathing, showering, swimming, etc. While sturdy, I am not sure how they react to being slept on or getting wet in regards to color bleeding etc. EARWIRES: I offer a range of earwire styles, I highly recommend one of the spring loaded leverback wires. As the dangle is so light, it's hard to weigh down the wire to keep it secure in the earlobe and could result in loss. I do supply silcone stopper nuts for the open wires, but the leverback is easy to put in, wear and gives peace of mind. If you have allergies, or just prefer higher end wires, I offer interchangeable leverback wires as an upgrade. These can even be used on other earring you might have with out need for tools, thus the "interchangeable" moniker.
