These hand built pottery dishes in the shape of a pear are a perfect size for lots of uses: trinket dish to hold jewelry key and loose change business cards candle holder spoon rest paper clips and thumbtacks guest bathroom soaps I handmade this ceramic dish from porcelain clay, forming it to a pear shape that is .5" high x 7" across x 4" wide. You can see in the photos above that I made three of these recently and used different glazes on each. I used a translucent green glaze for the two leaves at the top and a pretty matte yellow glaze for the body of the far left dish. There are three feet on the bottom that gives this plate a little bit of lift. The middle dish in the photos above features a translucent green celedon glaze.
