The candle is LED with a flickering light and lasts over 200 hrs, it comes with a CR2032 battery which can be replaced. The candle is white with a soft white glow. You can choice the color of the ribbon & color of the rhinestone ribbon to match your decor. This vase is water resistant. The ribbon has been decoupaged. It can get wet, but if you leave it soaking in water for several hours the embellishments will come off. I soaked the jar in water for 30 minutes & the embellishments didn’t budge.
