Unique and collectible, this double-walled vase is a piece of functional art perfect for an office, living room or any room needing a unique piece of ceramic art. I threw this on my pottery wheel from gorgeous porcelain clay, creating a vase within a vase. The interior vase is large enough to hold a small bouquet of fresh flowers. The exterior wall has circles of various sizes incised into it so you can see the interior vase through these holes. I layered two glazes in a combination that I call Sea and Sand. A blue celedon is on the bottom and interior of the vase, and a sandy tan glaze graces the top of this beauty. The vase measures 5" high x 4" wide. It's sure to be a focal point in any room you place it. I signed it on the bottom rim.
