When I first saw this in the darkness after sitting out in the sunlight for a few minutes, it kind of blew my mind. I was truly shocked at its beauty and I know that you will be too. The process is long and a bit costly but absolutely 100% worth it. We create each one of these stained glass insulators in our 150-year-old converted Tobacco Barn shop. I call it the bro barn. Staining glass is a slow, painstaking process. These are authentic approximately 100-year-old clear glass insulators that we have enhanced with glass stain applied as a spray aerosol. The non-porous nature of glass requires many light coats, each one needing a considerable amount of care and drying time. Then we coat each one with a diamond clear coat, making them more scratch-resistant and providing more shine and luster as well as UV protection.
