"Blackbird Morning" is one of a series of watercolor paintings I did one Summer. The images are based on photographs I took while on a walk at Blackberry Farm, a beautiful place near the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Blackberry Farm in Tennessee has these beautiful white fences on many parts of the property. On my stroll I noticed a large blackbird perfectly perched on the crosspiece of the fence with a little berry in his mouth. I decided to surround him with some of the purple cone flower and morning glories that were on the farm. The large decorative grasses with it's blue tinted foliage seemed to add to the lovely backdrop. Image Size: 10" x 10" Print Size: 14 x 14 All prints are signed and numbered.
