Birds are one of my favorite subjects and Bluebirds are one of my favorites. For this painting I wanted to really have the Spring colors pop and to have a bit of a graphic layout to it. I arranged the Bluebird, daffodil, forsythia and pansies on the page and went to work. It resulted in a watercolor painting of a bright, colorful bluebird sitting on forsythia branches in Spring surrounded by sunlit daffodils and lavender and purple pansies. I hope you like it.
