The pot holders and oven mitt are made with 100% cotton fabric with multiple insulating layers inside to reflect the heat. The potholders measure 7x7 inches and oven mitt 5 1/2 x 8 inches. Because the insulating layers contain a metallic quality similar to aluminum foil, they are not suited for use in a microwave.
