Winni View: 8x10 Fine Art Print of New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee, Wall Art Painting of New England, Hike View Lakes Region NH Artist
This is an 8x10 fine art print of my pastel painting, Winni View. Growing up in Belmont, NH, I'm very familiar with the lakes of the Lakes Region, and Lake Winnipesaukee in unquestionably the largest and most beloved. Every year our area's population swells with millions of visitors (mostly from Massachusetts) and many flock to the same destinations: Mount Major, our state parks, the Meredith docks, etc. As a local, I've gotten to know the special spots that aren't so marketed. Locke's Hill in Gilford sees a good amount of traffic, but it's not such a hotspot that we locals hide away during peak tourist season. This easy hike takes you up a hill onto a peninsula over Winnipesaukee, with views on three sides of the top. Traveling counter-clockwise starting at the trail sign in the parking lot, this view is the first. Last time I went, this sweet little family was taking a moment to enjoy the sights, which reminded me of my own childhood, so I included them in the painting to give the viewer that same sense of nostalgia. I produce my prints right in my home studio in Belmont, NH using a 6-color inkjet printer on matte fine art photography paper. Each is signed by hand on the back and sealed in a clear plastic sleeve with a rigid backing board for the best protection. I can produce prints to order if my supply of materials allows, so if you require a large quantity of prints (perhaps as wedding favors, holiday gifts for extended family, etc.) feel free to contact me.
