This is a handcrafted, zen inspired valet/organization tray to place keys, phone, or wallet or special items. Attached to the front of the base is a miniature diorama featuring the Buddha meditating in a serene landscape of vines and lush bushes among a path with a cairn . The figure and the structures in the diorama are hand painted with acrylic and oil paints. The base of the diorama/valet is hand built by gluing bamboo skewers together individually one by one. It is then sanded and topped with thick epoxy resin. The valet section is made with 1" decorative tiles. The piece is detailed with a herringbone pattern of silver solder rods which are made with real silver. The diorama comes with a handmade acrylic display case which protects the diorama from dust and wear. The piece speaks to the sacredness of open space and contemplative geometries. The piece is highly detailed with decorative metals and stainless steel hardware and spiritual charms. This is a quiet place to go and return to the present moment. The image of the Buddha is calming as you return to your center. The valet is heavy, weighing over 15 pounds, as I use floor tile around which skewers are glued to.
