Welcome to Bloomingdale Farm Fibers and Yarn Studio. I've always loved textiles--fabric, yarn, natural and synthetic fiber--. In the early 90's our family started raising fiber pets (German angora rabbits, angora goats and sheep of various breeds). Gradually we learned to hand spin yarn using the fiber shorn periodically from the bunnies, sheep and goats. Then, we started dyeing and hand painting yarns and fibers. As the years elapsed, we added weaving to our hobbies gone haywire, making and selling rugs, scarves, runners and whatnot.
