Deva Houston

Welcome! My name is Deva Houston and I am a multi-disciplinary artist. My painting journey began in high-school creating designs for screen printing as well as portraits in charcoal, oil and acrylics. I had my formal training at The Art Institute in Digital Art but have also studied acrylic pouring and resin art extensively. I love combining many art mediums to create striking images that usually contain hidden images or messages within them. My paintings are to be read… as someone may read the fine print. They are to be studied. When you least expect it, hidden images and elements will pop out at you giving you a fresh new perspective on each piece. Some pieces take months and others take years to create. Either way, I pour my heart and soul into every piece. My work can be found in galleries, on billboards and in pubic and private galleries around the world.
