April’s Escape

My name is April, and I create every illustration, painting, craft, and design in my shop. I have been passionate about drawing, painting, and crafting since childhood, which continued throughout high school and college, where I focused on fine arts. However, after being diagnosed with multiple diseases that severely affected my spine and joints, I decided to explore new crafting mediums that would be easier on my body. In 2020, I discovered Macrame and resin, which I immediately took to. I also enjoy drawing unique designs, most of which are inspired by my precious pet birds. I started working with Polymer clay in 2022, and it has been an exciting journey of experimentation and learning. I am amazed by the possibilities of this medium and thrilled to continue creating new pieces. In my free time (when I am not crafting), I love to play video games and watch anime with my hubby. I have a passion for animals and nature, and my husband and I brought that home with seven pet birds we deeply care for. My ultimate dream is to be able to create full-time.
