Hi, I'm Bert (Roberta) a professional polymer clay artist! I currently live in the beautiful southwest - Phoenix, Arizona. My whimsical style is unique and I concentrate on creating custom sculptures, ornaments, figurines, jewelry and cake toppers. I am licensed with Boy Scouts of America. Family life has had a profound influence and inspiration to my design work. Raising 6 children with my husband Eric has given me many opportunities to experience life at it's fullest! I look at clay as an opportunity to bring joy to others. Many of my customers have not 1, but 2 "Bert trees" filled with a collection of my ornaments. People ask me how did you stay sane raising six children? I say "I had clay!" Each and every ornament is hand sculpted only by me. With a love of graphic design, my ornaments are set apart by combining unique fonts and graphics to create amazing banners & artwork on my items. I started purchasing my polymer clay from Darice many years ago, which has now been bought by Michaels. I love their selection of colors and the clay is always fresh!
