Bits and Baubles

Welcome to Bits and Baubles. I have ALWAYS been a maker... but a the discovery of a brain tumor in 2018, and the diagnosis of MS in 2019 changed the way I make and what I make. I no longer hand paint ornaments because I cannot hold a thin detail brush, but I do hand embroider ornaments because I've found that I can control a needle and thread. If it can be made out of felt and/or fabric I've either already made it, or am willing to give it a go. I've come back to making Jewelry, and I also make Ornaments, small stuffed animals, keychains, and other Holiday decor like rag Garlands and mug rugs. I'm fond of cats, cows, gnomes and little fat birdies and you can usually find them represented in my handiwork. I also like hearts, stars, rainbows, llamas, mushrooms and daisies. There's usually a collection or two that features one or more of those. I'm multi-disciplined, and mostly self-taught. I love to do craft shows, and this is my craft show that doesn't close. I'm happy to work with you on a special order (I've done party favors, party garlands, ornaments) and I can accommodate most requests.
