Hello! I'm Shelby, the boss lady here at Boss Lair! I'm 31 years old, married to my best friend, have three incredibly loved kiddos, and live near beautiful Charleston in South Carolina where I run my shop. I have a love for Jesus like no other; He has been my rock through every valley and up every mountain! Without him I wouldn't be where I am in any aspect of my life! My business started in 2013 with a hammer and a set of $10 metal stamps. I spent the first 5 years hand stamping metal items and the occasional finger that got in the way! In 2018 I purchased my first engraver, a Boss Laser™. The struggle was real as I worked tirelessly learning how to make that machine do what I wanted it to. Eventually settings were established and processes were set in stone. What took hours to accomplish with hand stamping could now be done in minutes! I basically spent the whole Christmas season working in my office so we jokingly called it my lair, where I got to escape mom life and enjoy solitude for a bit. This sparked the name change to Boss Lair, which coincides with my Boss Laser™ and my self appointed title - Boss Lady! Let me know if you need custom engraving and I'll make it happen!
