Welcome to Butterflies Under Glass......... I have been a Lepidopterist for 6 full decades, and taught Entomology and Field natural History on the University level, as a young man. In my retirement I utilized my natural artistic talents to create shadow boxes, dioramas, glass domes, and artworks with butterflies, dragonflies and many other natural artifacts. I have been creating these aesthetically pleasing displays for more than 40 years. My wife of 54 years, Susan, has been of immense value in these endeavors, although I alone spread, mount and assemble all of our creations. Rarely, do we have a patron that fails to return for additional pieces of our creative endeavors. I must mention that Michael's Pro plays an instrumental role in our financial success.
