Chain and Wire Design is a chainmail and wire jewelry store. All pieces are handmade and one of a kind. I started chainmailling over a decade ago. I started due to my love of history and Renaissance Festivals. About five years ago, I tried my had at wire working. I struggled a bit at first, until a helpful smith told me what I was doing wrong. My wire skills began developing quickly after that. I have had a small shop on Etsy, but the site is oversaturated and it is hard to compete with the algorithms and sellers from China who create machine made goods. Thus, I have decided to move to Michaels.
