Welcome to ConfigAbox™ I am Bob Rice, the inventor of a line of snap together boxes and product enclosures. A laser cut pattern of alternating male/female tabs interlock at right angles to provide amazing design flexibility. Many materials can be laser cut. I currently work with 2mm cast acrylic and basswood plywood. The plywood is typically stained golden mahogany. Most designs have panels that can use the two materials interchangeably. Applications range from merely decorative to functional enclosures to reconfigurable creations of the user - think of the old erector sets, Lego blocks and now snap together panels.
