Creative Sanctuary

I’ve spent more than two decades in design, shaping brands and products that help people communicate, feel better, and connect. My work has never been just about how something looks—it’s about how it makes people feel. I believe creativity isn’t about talent. It’s about presence. Picking up a brush, tracing a line, weaving a thread, or simply moving your hands can give your mind a little room to quiet. Creative Sanctuary grew from my own seasons of feeling scattered, heavy, and unsure. In those moments, I discovered a quieter kind of guidance through stillness, reflection, and the simple act of making. Here on MakerPlace, I share that philosophy through Make + Meditate projects that pair approachable creative practices with gentle reflection. Using familiar materials and simple techniques, each project is an invitation to slow down, explore, and enjoy the process—not because you need to make something perfectly, but because of what you may discover while making it. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist. You only have to begin.
