Welcome to Dresch Designs I am Karsten Dresch, 62. Moved back to my childhood home on Long Island to care for my 88 yr old mom, who has the beginning of dementia. She is no longer able to live by herself or drive. I was working up until December of 2024, however things changed and I have to be home more then working full time allows. Knowing that this would happen, I purchased a diode laser in March or 2024, then a co2 laser in August of 2024. I have been learning to use this tool now for a year. In March of 2025 I purchased a Thunder bolt rf laser to replace the water cooled laser I bought the year before. I work out of my 2 car garage, my operation is run off as much as possible. We had over 20 panels on the house when i moved here, and due to heating costs in the winter ( water cooled laser and paints can not freeze) i added 18 more panels and a tesla powerwall. If a prolonged power outtage hits us I can continue to work, but have to keep it to daylight hours. I do home decor, and decorations, table stands for weddings, businesses and craft fairs. I am open to attempting new things, just get ahold of me to discuss it. oh and i also work with epoxy resin ( small jobs)
