Once upon a time I was a bride, getting married, and wanting to find a way to preserve my wedding day memories. So much from a wedding day gets left behind. The venue, catering, wedding dress, flowers, and more just get used for one day, and then there's nothing you do with them beyond that. I had shoes, a ring (obviously), necklaces, and wedding photos that I could hold onto, but it seemed like for all the money that we were spending, we should have had more that we could hold onto after the day was over. And that's how I stumbled upon floral preservation! My lovely mom offered to preserve my wedding flowers for me and I learned through her what the experience was like. This was her first time pressing flowers, while some flowers turned moldy and could not be used, other flowers looked beautiful and were ready to use. She framed it all up and then I was able to receive my beautiful bouquet! I've made it my mission to show the world how beautiful pressed flowers are. I make pressed flower framed art, wax seals, bookmarks, greeting cards, candles, and anything else that I can make with pressed flowers! Mother nature made these beautiful plants for us and now we get to enjoy.
