Welcome to FatCatKnits. I'm Ginny, and I dye wool for spinners and other fiber artists. I also make jewelry. Here you will find: Handpainted wool combed top (roving) in multi and semisolid colors Drumcarded batts, full of soft wools, lots of silk, and COLOR Stitch markers and shawl pins Hand dyed silk laps, throwsters, and curly wool locks, great for spinners and felters I offer most of my colorways on Polwarth and 18.5 micron Merino (great for the nuno felters and those with sensitive skin). I make sure to treat my wool gently- it is soft and easy drafting, and the colors are washfast. I use my own dyed wool and silk to make my batts. When carding my focus is on creating a fun blend of wool and silk with colors that work well together and a preparation that will be a joy to spin.
