Welcome to Patty's Pours. I started messing around with acrylic paint pouring about 2 years ago as a means of continuation of therapy learning how to not be a full time mom anymore. I started in woodworking about 5 years ago seeing photos of pieces and just making them. Nothing was an exact copy but my own unique creation. (Comical side note...one piece, an entertainment center I made for my daughter, it was actually stolen. I figured the fool wanted it that bad, he musta really liked it. I'll just do another for my daughter.) Then life evolved and so to my next artistic venture of acrylic paint pouring. You start out with an idea, gather what you need and jump in. Well guess what...the paint decided to do something else. Kinda like life you know. You have expectations and plans...guess what, there's always a bug in the bowl so just go with it. Don't sweat the small stuff and send love and light out all around you and just be in that moment.
