If a handmade trinket ever made your heart skip, you're my people. My name is Tambra, and I grew up in the foggy magic of San Francisco. When other children were playing with dolls, I created pieces of jewelry from found objects to sell to my neighbors. Though sales were minimal, the creativity brought me bliss. After a decade in an unsatisfying corporate career, I returned to jewelry design. In those early days, my passion was rare and exotic gemstones woven with fine precious metals. The aesthetic was delicate and ultra-feminine at a time when women favored large, bold pieces. Following my heart vs the dictation of fashion, I was floored when the fashion crowd began whispering my name, offering nods from critics and drawing extraordinary women who saw their own stories reflected in the pieces I poured my soul into. In 2012, I craved deeper impact and Get Gifted was born. Conceived from a desire to create work with greater meaning and the hope of making a positive impact in people’s lives, this collection focuses on compassion and human connection with an unwavering commitment to superior craftsmanship.
