Welcome and thanks for stopping by my art studio! I love making all kinds of art, but glass is my passion! Living so close to the Wasatch mountains, I'm inspired by the amazing natural world around me, and especially by the colors, textures, and shapes of nature in all four seasons. I strive to reflect this in the pieces I create. I design, hand-craft, and kiln-fire all fused glass items. Safety and environmental quality are of concern to me, and therefore, my serving platters and bowls are food-safe. I follow strict glass compatibility, fusing and slumping techniques to assure the structural integrity of each piece, and I sign all pieces on the bottom using permanent glass paint or marker. Custom orders are always welcome, I would love to create something just for you! Many of my listings are prototypes that have already sold. I re-create them very closely to the listing photos, but variations are an inherent part of the process of hand-made art, and also part of the fun :-) (…and hopefully worth waiting for!)
