Independent Reign

Welcome to Independent Reign. I am a self-taught maker of bags and purses. When I began this journey 15 years ago I didn't even know how to use a sewing machine, let alone make a bag. Unskilled, but determined, I set about the challenge of discovering if I could actually create something that was beautiful, well made, and that might even sell. Well, somehow (with a fair amount of tears and tantrums), I was able to rise to the challenge and create a brand that has been my sole business for over 15 years. Learning to pivot and adapt to the ever-changing marketplace, without sacrificing quality and durability, and staying true to the workmanship of handmade items is one of the reasons my business has sustained itself over the years. It is a labor of love, and each and every bag is handmade from start to finish by me. I hope you enjoy browsing my items and thanks for taking the time to read my story :)
