I specialize in the Japanese art of Yakisugi or Shou Sugi Ban with most of my pieces. This is where the wood is fire charred giving it its dark black color and bold textures. The charring process of the wood can sometime create cracks or splits in the wood that help add character to each piece. I create living room decor such as end tables and coffee tables. Clocks, charcuterie boards, cutting boards, benches and foot stools. Paper towel holders, blanket racks and quilt racks. Each item is handcrafted when you order.
