The inception of KSHappyThreads took place during the pandemic, where I initially began sewing cotton masks to contribute to local clinics and hospitals during the mask shortage. Growing up, I was fortunate to be surrounded by an incredibly creative family. My grandma, mom, and all my aunties were skilled in sewing and knitting, while even my grandfather and dad exhibited their craftiness with hands that could mend and create anything we needed. Their 'can-do' attitude instilled in me a belief that anything is achievable through dedication and passion. The desire to open my own shop has always been a dream, and the circumstances of the pandemic granted me the time and opportunity to turn that dream into a reality. The act of creating brings me immense joy, and each item is crafted with love and meticulous care.
