At La Joya Tagua, we specialize in crafting eco-friendly jewelry and accessories using a diverse range of natural seeds sourced from Colombia, my homeland. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our products, which are dyed with non-toxic dyes and assembled with cotton wax threads and leather, resulting in beautiful and distinctive pieces. Our primary seed, Tagua, also known as Vegetable Ivory, is derived from the robust white endosperm of select palm tree seeds, bearing a striking resemblance to animal ivory. This unique material hails from the genus Phytelephas, aptly named the "elephant plant," and is indigenous to South America. What distinguishes us is our dedication to sustainability and waste reduction. We prioritize natural and biodegradable resources in our production process, ensuring that every product is crafted with the environment in mind.
