Le Sure Walker Handmade

Welcome to Le Sure Walker Handmade! My name is Vanessa and I make crocheted items and I make soap and do glass art as well. How did I get started? Well, it all started when I was in the third grade...One of my aunts took me under her wing and taught me how to crochet. I was really into it for all of a year and then I started working on other interests. Little did I know that 40+ years later, I would pick it back up again and start creating. I was 16 years old when I made my first bar of soap and I was interested for all of one term when I was enamored with the realness of getting an A in Chemistry but once the challenge was gone, so was my enthusiasm. Decades later, because one of my children had extremely dry skin along with eczema, I felt that I had to do something to help. I revisited soap making and coupled that with my experience as a Pharmacist and realized that it felt like I had found an old lost friend. How did the glass painting come into the fray? Well with my soap, I was looking for unique containers to make gift baskets. I came across some glass and started painting and the rest was history. Thank you for visiting my shop!
