Lis Makes was born from a desire to blend my love for fiber arts with mental health advocacy. Crafting started as a personal way to find peace and grounding, but I quickly realized that making things by hand is a wonderful way to connect with others and share a sense of comfort. My shop is built on the simple belief that creativity is good for the soul. My goal is to turn craft into care, a spirit that shines through in projects like "A Little Care Cookie"—where I share crocheted cookies with uplifting messages as giveaways. It's a small form of encouragement and a gentle reminder that there is still softness in the world. Whether I’m knitting a cozy balaclava hood or working on a structured crochet bag, every piece is made slowly and intentionally in a small corner of my home in Champaign, Illinois.
