Welcome to LL Cabochons and More My name is Lee Lomas and I am a Lapidary artist working with stones, gems and minerals to create beautiful pieces you can cherish for years. My wife is Joan Lomas and she creates stunning acrylic paintings. I self-collect and gather gems and minerals from all over the country. I then cut the material, shape it, grind, sand and polish it into cabochons. You may ask, what is a cabochon? It is a gem or mineral that has gone through the above process and the end result is usually flat on the bottom, domed on the top, can take the shape of ovals, hearts, oblong, square etc and shines. They can be wired wrapped, a hole drilled into it to hang on a necklace or put into a bezel to wear as necklace, ear rings or even a bolo tie. We live in New Mexico, The Land of Enchantment and are both retired. We travel and love to gather items to bring into your home.
