Mad Mark’s Leather

Thank you so much for taking the time to explore my handcrafted leather goods. Back in 2009 I wanted to be able to work on arts & crafts with my niece and spend quality time learning how to create something from scratch with our hands. My niece and I decided to try out tooled belts for our first project. Beside the leather being a blank canvas for me I personally enjoyed the warm smell. It took me back in time to when I used to work with wood and the smell of shavings was always very inspiring for me. Taking the time to size, measure and cut the leather was just the beginning of my newfound love for the process and design leather craft. From just using the few basic metal stamps on hand I started imagining future projects and Mad Mark’s Leather and Treasures was born.
