Thoughtfully hand carved by a father and his son in the mountains of Vermont, Mr E’s Wooden Spoons all began with a Parkinson’s diagnosis. A recovering workaholic, Mr. E finally began to slow down and realized that being with family was the best use of time and spending that time around a dinner table eating with them was even better. So, being a longtime carpenter and artist, Mark sat down at the carving bench with his two sons and they began hand carving spoons and ladles with their own handmade whittling tools hoping to bring others together around the dinner table with our unique and beautiful serve and cookware. While the wood shop has changed and updated along with our products offered, those original tools still hang on the walls reminding us that our original intentions haven’t: to use heirloom quality, one of a kind materials with a timeless attention to detail and design that will bring beauty and conversation to your tables for generations to come.
