ORIGAMI just because

Hello and Welcome to “ORIGAMI just because” My name is Maggie and I am obsessed with Origami… just because. I suppose everyone has something that they are truly fascinated, enamored or in love with. I have no true artistic abilities. I can’t even draw a straight line or a decent looking circle either. But there is something about taking a plain sheet of paper and turning it into magic with just a few folds. At first my origami was only for myself, that is until the closets started to overflow. I started giving my pieces to friends, coworkers and even strangers. I got reactions ranging from blank stares to euphoria. One day an artist friend showed me things she had created with all the origami I had gifted her. She made mobiles, stuck them on to skewers, put them into her paintings and framed them. She also used them to decorate gifts and in journals (personal, junk and aesthetic). I had to look up what the last two were. I will fold the origami for you to use in your fabulous creations!
