Crafting through widowhood I have always created. Knitting, cross stitch, graphic design, paper crafting, and more. When I discovered diamond painting, it helped me work through the loss of my parents. But it is my latest journey - dealing with the loss of my husband - that has made me realize we must always find ways to dream, create, and love ourselves. I became a widow in August of 2023. Admittedly, what I create to list for sale is a big part of my therapy. Without embracing the creation process, and the two dogs and cats in the house, I don't know where I'd be. Perhaps someday creating will be my livelihood. For now, it helps me work through the grief, procure more supplies and keep the lights on. For that, I am grateful.
