Welcome to Rugz & Hugz Creations Welcome to my little corner of creativity, healing, and handmade art. My name is Danielle, and I’m the creator behind Rugz & Hugz Creations, where I turn yarn, creativity, and a whole lot of love into unique handmade tufted rugs. My journey into rug making began during one of the hardest seasons of my life. After losing my sister, I was searching for something that could help me process my grief and give my hands and mind somewhere positive to go. Creating became part of my healing. What started as something I did for myself slowly grew into a passion—and eventually into my small business. Every rug I make is hand-tufted by me, one at a time. I use a tufting gun, primary tufting cloth, acrylic and/or wool yarn, rug adhesive, and backing materials to bring each design to life. From choosing the colors and tracing the design to tufting, trimming, shaving, gluing, and finishing each rug, I put time and care into every step. What makes my rugs special is that they aren’t mass-produced. Each one is handmade, personal, and created with intention.
