I’m Sarah, the artist and maker behind Sarsoura Store. I create one of a kind handmade pieces which include Palestinian regional art dolls, tatreez and embroidery, clay and embroidered jewelry, amulets and talismans, gothic wall art, religious decor, hair accessories, bags and charms, alongside darker romantic and macabre pieces. Each creation is made by hand and guided by research, imagination, cultural memory and a deep love for the stories behind it. Sarsoura began with Palestinian dolls I made for my own children as a way of preserving and celebrating their heritage. From there, it grew into a collection of objects devoted to remembrance, beauty, resilience and the things we carry with us.
